Step 1

Once the screen bezel is separated, remove the 6 screws while protecting the screen assembly to the display cover.

Now remove the LCD screen from the cover. Do it very carefully because the screen cable is yet attached to the webcam module and the screen itself. Make sure that the LCD screen is not moved too far from the cover.

Step 7
Place the LCD screen down faced on the keyword. You will find that a video cable connector on the back of your Dell LCD Screen.

Important: If you dell laptop has a CCFL backlit LCD Screen in place of LED Screen, you need to disconnect the cable from the inverter board. (A LED backlit LCD screen doesn’t need an inverter and it is connected directly to the motherboard.)

Remove the sticky tape carefully and disconnect the video cable connector from the LCD screen. 

Step 9
Now separate the LCD screen assembly and transfer both mounting brackets to the New Dell LCD Screen. In order to detach the brackets' you’ll need to remove three screws.

Step 10
